The CNSWG1 and CNSWG2 (Command Naval Special Warfare Group) marked knives are extremely rare, and a real Grail for the collectors out there. These are the first SEAL ATAKs shipped to the US Navy prior to the marking change. There were 256 of these made. The CNSWG2 knives are rarer than the CNSWG1 version, as the West Coast Teams got orders in first and received more of the early knives. When these CNSWG1 or CNSWG2 knives trade at all, it's for whatever the market will bear. I have not seen one go for under $2000.00 in a couple of years. Pristine specimens are rarer still, trading at $3000.00 and higher.
